Ben and Jodie pride themselves on building beautiful homes in the Whitsundays that are unique, one of a kind builds with outstanding quality and workmanship. Ben only takes on a few builds each year to ensure the quality is there from start to finish and it allows him to be onsite daily. Ben and Jodie’s passion is building homes for clients that are after a high standard of quality and finishes, creating luxurious havens that allow North’s Queensland climate to be appreciated, drawing the outside in.
Coastal Edge Constructions is a family owned company operated by Ben and Jodie Ferdinand. Ben is a registered builder and qualified carpenter and a long term member of Master Builders. We specialise in individual projects that require a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail. When you build with Coastal Edge, you only deal with Ben and Jodie with Ben on site each day to guide the build until we hand the keys over to you at the end. We have a selected team of tradesmen and suppliers that move with us to each job to ensure the highest of quality and workmanship throughout each home. We also operate a timber joinery workshop on our farm where 2 qualified tradesmen hand-make beautiful timber pieces of work for our homes. Our timber work can be found throughout many homes on Hamilton Island including world class resort ‘Qualia’. Another way we guarantee the uniqueness and quality finishes in each of our homes.
In 2013, we were presented with an opportunity to purchase a Timber Joinery business which had an outstanding reputation of creating stunning timber pieces for many well known locations including the beautiful Qualia Resort on Hamilton Island. Through owning our own joinery business, it has given us the opportunity again to control the quality of workmanship throughout each of our homes. We are able to create timber kitchens, bi-fold doors, windows, solid entry doors, stair cases, vanities, office fitouts, bedroom fitouts, WIR, BBQ cabinetry – anything you can imagine that is made from timber, we are able to create. We have 2 qualified tradesmen in our workshop located on our farm west of Airlie Beach that hand-make unique, timber creations.
